It did help substantially, as it no longer just gets kinda "stuck" not using the GPU. I don't know what's causing it, but it's irritating as hell. The reason is that GPU usage drops to practically nothing, It's certainly not a heat issue, as I've verified using MSI Afterburner to monitor, as well as opening the case and having an honest-to-god box fan aimed at about a 30 degree angle at the PC, just to be sure nothing is getting too hot.
Then it drops to 10-15 for a few minutes, and then goes back up. Under normal circumstances, I get 60 fps without problem. You wont be able to change this in the middle of the scenario as well. Youll get the action to allow Infinite Ammo at the start of each Scenario or Chapter.
I simply pause the game and wait for the framerate to go back up. Activate The Infinite Ammo when Starting a Scenario. Anyway.įor the most part, 13.9 did the trick, though it still happens every 10 minutes or so.
Steam denied my refund because the playtime was at 3 hours, even though I have videos of the entire 3 hours of play demonstrating that it was just me attempting to fix the damned thing and make it work. 13.9's drivers (though I didn't install CCC) appear to have *mostly* resolved the issue.
